Fishing gear

Even though the average catch is approximately 2 pounds, you could be surprised with a bigger catch; therefore we recommend a robust rod and reel filled with (new) 10 pounds test monofilament. For fly fishing, a 7 1/2 to 8 feet rod with floating silk or sinking tip with a maximum 10 pound test monofilament is recommended.
