Fishing license
A valid fishing license from Quebec is mandatory. It is
available throughout Quebec (several sales point in
Sept-Îles and at camp Manitou (for people in American V.I.P.
plan only)).
Wildlife preservation and control of fishing activities
There of Mabec Outfitters employees are formally trained as
assistant game warden: Mr. Victor Gagnon, Bernard Girard and
Louis Laurin. At all time, during a fishing activity on the
permise of Mabec Outfitters, you might be asked by one of the
assistant game warden to identify yourself, to show your fishing
license or your catches. We ask for your unterstanding and your
cooperation. This is to ensure that all persons involved in a
fishing activity on the permises of Mabec Outfitters are allowed
to be there and that the laws and rules of the province of
Quebec pertaining to fishing are respected.
Please note that an assistant game warden has
the right to perform these verifications and has the power to
emit a violation ticket if the laws and rules in effect are not
respected. There will be a zero tolerance on our part for any
act of poaching at Mabec Outfitters. This is to ensure and
maintain the quality of fishing at our camps so that we can see
you again for many years to come. As an avid and educated
fishermen, we are sure you share our views.
